YOUTH GRANT

OBJECTIVE: The primary purpose of this Grant fund is to assist youth programs with items not funded by South Portland School Department /Athletic Department/rec center,  specifically for the enrichment, development, and well-being of of South Portland athletes. 

ELIGIBLE EQUIPMENT: Equipment: including cleats and shoes, Lacrosse sticks, helmets, goggles and pads, Goalie gear and other sporting equipment that can not be funded by South Portland Schools or family members for students. Maximum of $500 per year as approved by THCLF Board.

Please be sure to include dollar amount you are seeking and where you will be getting you equipment. Checks will be paid directly to the company supplying the gear. 

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
 Grant will be awarded to a specific applicant upon board review and approval.

The decisions of the selection committee will be final, and reason(s) for their decisions will not be made public.
